Under The Full Moon by T. Elizabeth Guthrie

Stefan, Alpha of the Romanian werewolves, is desperate to get Clan land returned. The previous Alpha sold it to pay for his bad habits and now it’s up to him to get it back, in order to keep the secrets that it holds.

Aislin and her friend Esmae have decided to move from the United States to the mysterious world of Romania. When she finds the perfect plot of land to start a small ranch and blacksmith shop, she jumps at the chance even though the realtor has warned her it’s haunted.

Not believing in the supernatural, she buys the land and sets up shop, then meets the tall, dark and sexy as sin, Stefan. He’s offered her three times what she paid, but she’s not selling.

Will he take the land from her? Or will he seduce her and steal her heart in his bid to get what he believes is his in the first place?

“Hello beautiful,” said Stefan as he stared at Aislin. She looked good enough to eat right there in front of everyone. Damn that would make for one hell of a show. He couldn’t help it; the thought made him grin from ear to ear.

“I spoke too soon, it would appear.” She turned to glare at him. “And what is that smile for?”

“Do you really want to know?” he asked.

Thinking better of it, she said no and he laughed before sitting down.

“What are you doing?” Aislin instantly felt annoyed with the man.

“Sitting. Ordering food.”

“No, you’re not. Or at the very least, go over there and leave us alone.” She pointed across the room.

Radu had slid his chair closer to Esmae. “Why would we do that? I, for one, like it right here.” He watched her blush and wondered how far down that pretty shade of red went into her shirt.

Stefan shook his head. “We’re not going anywhere. I’m hungry, he’s hungry and apparently so are both of you. Let’s share a meal and have some stimulating conversation before going back to your place for something much more fun.”

Aislin felt her heart skip a beat at the thought of what he had in mind. Knowing she shouldn’t take it at face value, after all he was only flirting because he wanted her land, she rolled her eyes and asked the waitress to wrap hers to go.

“No.” Stefan reached out and touched the woman’s elbow to make sure she heard him. He watched as she nodded and quickly left the table.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Aislin pushed the chair back and stood towering over him. In the back of her mind, she realized that it would be the only time she’d be able to, since he was quite a bit taller than she was.

He slowly rose and gave her a look that said she was to obey him. When she glared back and stormed out of the restaurant, he watched her with a look of pure shock on his face. Before he could think better of it, he told Radu to stay put and keep Esmae at the table, that he’d be right back.

Interview with T. Elizabeth Guthrie

Q: Hi, T. Elizabeth. Can you tell us about your publishing journey? Did you always want to be an author?

TEG: I started writing back in high school where I’d write short stories casting my friends and their favorite musician or actor in all sorts of interesting situations. I sold them for a quarter a piece. My first officially published story was in a charity anthology and that story is now in the works to becoming its own novel. I’ve always wanted to become an author. I was a voracious reader growing up and it’s now transitioned to my writing.

Q: Tell us about your hero. What motivates him?

TEG: The hero in Under the Full Moon is named Stefan and he’s the Alpha of the Romanian Clan of Wolves. He’s motivated by the fact that the Blood Moon ritual has to be done on Clan land which has been sold to an American woman. The previous Alpha was a gambler and in order to pay his debts, he sold the land then was killed by Stefan when he found out.

Q: Describe your main character in three words.

TEG: Hot. Determined. Strong.

Q: If your book was made into a movie, who would star in it?

TEG: Henry Cavill. He embodies all three of the character traits described above.

Q: Do you listen to music while writing? Share your Spotify list with us!

TEG: Yes, it’s mandatory to have music playing in the background. It gets me into the mood for the story. My list includes, Nu Breed, Five Finger Death Punch, Pop Evil, AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Disturbed, Godsmack, Skid Row, and anything hard rock from the 80’s.

THIS OR THAT QUESTIONS:

Coffee or Tea? TEA
Book or Movie? BOOK OF COURSE
City or Country? COUNTRY
Print or Ebook? PRINT because I love the smell of a new book.
Summer or Winter? WINTER
