At first, they both think that its just vivid dreams, but they soon realise that they can communicate with each other. They leave messages on paper, phones and sometimes even on their skin. But why is the body switching happening? And what will happen if it stops?

Romeo + Juliet (2020)

Juliet and her Romeo. The Capulets and The Montagues are fierce rival families in Verona and their children Romeo and Juliet fall deeply in love. The film keeps the original Shakespearean dialogue but the film is given a more modern vibe with a hip soundtrack and guns are used instead of swords. Many of the play’s iconic scenes are still there so be sure to check out this version of Verona’s star crossed lovers.

Love, Simon (2018)

17-year-old Simon Spier’s love story is more complicated than your standard love story. He hasn’t told his friends or family that he’s gay. And he doesn’t know the identity of the anonymous classmate that he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing.

Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (2008)

Weathering With You (2018)

Running away from home, Hodaka Morishima escape to Tokyo. But from the start nothing is going his way. His ferry gets caught in a rainstorm, the rain never stops pouring, he has no money and can’t seem to find a job anywhere.

Finally, he gets a job at an occult publishing company and learns about the existence of sunshine girls, who have the ability to control the weather. He meets and befriends Hina Amano, who is a real-life sunshine girl. And for once, things seem to be going well for Hodaka.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008)

Georgia Nicholson is an eccentric but loveable 14-year-old girl who maintains a diary about the ups and downs of being a teenager. This story follows Georgia as she attempts to woo Robbie, one half of a pair of fraternal twins. Prone to getting herself into embarrassing situations and worried about her parent’s marriage, Georgia discovers that being a teen can be a pain in the neck.

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

This title is loosely based on the Shakespeare classic, Taming Of The Shrew. Kat Stratford is beautiful, smart and quite abrasive to most of her fellow teens, meaning that she doesn’t attract many boys. Unfortunately for her younger sister, Bianca, house rules say she can’t date until Kat has a boyfriend. So Bianca tries to set Kat up for romance. Things are starting to look up for Bianca when Kat crosses paths with the handsome new arrival Patrick Verona. What really makes the movie a masterpiece is the way Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger portray the bittersweet relationship.

Clueless (1995)

Based on Jane Austen’s Emma, this is something of a loose adaption of the book. Shallow, rich and socially successful Cher is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai a makeover.

When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother was right about how misguided she was — and begins to fall for him. This movie was something of a sleeper hit that had a strong influence on fashion and lingo at the time. It is now regarded as a modern classic so if you’ve somehow missed this one then the time to watch is now!

Five Feet Apart (2019)

A love story between two teens who can’t get within six feet of each other without risking their lives. Stella needs a lung transplant, so she needs to avoid infections at all costs, but when she meets Will, six feet doesn’t feel like safety anymore. It feels like a punishment.

Pretty In Pink (1986)

He quickly catches the eye of ballet student Nora, who is trying to use hip-hop moves with her classical routines. After some hesitation, Nora convinces Tyler to help her with her dance routines and sparks fly.

The Notebook (2004)

With it being widely reported that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams didn’t get on at all whilst filming The Notebook then you would never guess from their on screen chemistry (the couple did end up briefly dating after the movie had premiered). The movie is based on the book of the same name by Nicolas Sparks, which itself is based on the real life story of his (now ex) wife’s grandparents. The film tells the story of Noah and Allie, a couple who meet and fall in love in the 1940s. It is told from the perspective of an elderly man who is reading the story from a notebook to another nursing home resident who is suffering from dementia. Just be warned: keep the tissues handy for the ending of this one!

The Princess Switch (2018)

Stacy DeNovo is a talanted baker who runs a successful with her life-long friend Kevin. A week before Christmas, Kevin tells Stacy that their entry in a prestigious baking competition in the Kingdom of Belgravia was accepted. There, Stacy runs into Lady Margaret Delacourt, Duchess of Montenaro and fiancée of Crown Prince Edward of Belgravia and they are struck by their indetical looks. Margaret suggests that they switch places for two days to have a break from their normal lives.

The longer they spend together, the more John begins to fall in love with her, but he doesn’t know that she’s in a relationship with Peter. Meanwhile, Lara Jean feels insecure about her relationship because she keeps comparing herself to Peter’s ex-girlfriend.
