Claiming Callie by Lacy Jane

Callie
Rex Cameron, aka Uncle Rex.
Former NFL tight end.
Six-foot-eight of mouthwatering muscles.
Star of my naughtiest fantasies.
The only man I’ve ever wanted.
Dad’s best friend, so totally off limits.

Rex
Callie Stevens.
John’s little girl.
Sexiest woman to ever walk the face of the earth.
Pin-up worthy curves and f*ck me eyes.
The object of my every dirty desire.
I’m twice her age.
She’s like family to me.
She’s forbidden fruit.
She’s all I can think about.
Once I touch her, all bets are off.
Once I claim her, I’ll never let her go.

A sexy older man, a beautiful younger woman, a forbidden romance. This book is OTT with light daddy/lg elements, very high heat, no cheating, and (of course!) a HEA. If you prefer your romances squeaky clean, this is not the book for you. If, on the other hand, you like lots of sex, dirty talking heroes, and strong heroines who know what they want, read away! A steamy read with HEA guaranteed. Enjoy!

Excerpt from Claiming Callie by Lacy Jane

I get out of the car and hear a high-pitched squeal. I see a blur of silky blonde hair as Callie flies at me, wrapping her arms and legs around me like a monkey. “Hey, squirt,” I laugh, hugging her tightly to me. She steps back and smiles brightly up at me. She’s a foot or so shorter than me, so I have to lean down to her level.

“I’ve missed you,” she whispers, pressing a quick kiss against my lips. It’s innocent enough, but between the kiss and catching a whiff of her vanilla shampoo, my cock immediately hardens. Shit! I keep enough space between us so she won’t discover that just being near her immediately turns my cock to stone.

Here’s the deal. I’ve known Callie her entire life; literally. I was there in the hospital when Sandy gave birth to her. I have always loved her like a niece. That is, until the last couple of years.

I don’t know what the hell happened. All I know is that one minute, she was a kid, and the next, she was a smoking hot siren that I desperately wanted. When I saw her at her twentieth birthday party, I no longer felt anything remotely paternal toward her. What I felt was the overwhelming lust a man feels toward a woman he wants to fuck. Badly.

I was hoping that I would be disappointed when I saw her in the flesh again; that she wouldn’t be as stunning as I remembered. Yep. She’s not. She’s even better. She’s everything I have ever wanted. She is my fucking obsession.

Interview with Lacy Jane

Q: Hi Lacy! Can you tell us a little more about yourself?

LJ: I was room mom for my son’s class every year of elementary school.  I was also president, vice-president, or co-president of the PTO every year except his kindergarten year.  It was so fun!  I miss it so much!

Q: How many books have you published and which is your favorite?

LJ: I’ve published eight now.  Enticing Ella may be my favorite so far because it is pretty lighthearted, even with serious events going on, and Ella is my first book where the heroine has a beloved doggy, much like myself.  Although they don’t look alike, I based her dog, Cujo, on my dog, Isaac.  Both love their mom, but pretty much no one else.

Q: What are you reading right now?

LJ: I read several short books a night.  Last night, I read Hot for Professor by Cassi Hart.  She has become one of my favorites.  I loved it!  I read Passion in the Mountains by Olivia T. Turner as soon as it came out.  I bought it as soon as I read it because it was sooo good!  She’s probably my all-time favorite!

Q: How do you handle writer’s block?

LJ: I take a break for a few days and work on other things.  When I’m trying to go to sleep, I let my mind wander and come up with ideas.  That’s when I come up with the majority of my plots and scenes.

Q: Any advice for new writers?

LJ: Just give it a try.  Write a book, then write another.  With each book you write, you learn and improve.  Read reviews of your books, but don’t let trolls drag you down.  Focus on the positive comments and learn from the negative ones.  Also, spend the money to have a professional do your cover.  I thought it wouldn’t make a difference, but it REALLY does.

Q: Your ideal writing space is?

LJ: I generally write in my office with total silence, aside from my two dogs snoring.  Lol

This Or That Questions:

  1. Coffee or tea?  Coffee, but not black.  Yummy and evil-frappes, lattes, or cappuccinos.
  2. Shower or bath?  Bath, always!
  3. City or country?  Country, though I love to visit big cities.  I live in more of a town, so it’s the best of both worlds.
  4. Print or Ebook?  It took me a long time to give up physical books, but now I love ebooks.  I can read tons on my kindle, I can take it anywhere, and it’s much less cumbersome.
  5. Summer or Winter?  Winter!  There’s nothing prettier than snow, but if it just gets crazy cold and no snow, I don’t like that.
  6. Early or Late?  If it’s just me, early or on time.  If my husband is coming, too, LATE, though he’s gotten much, much better about it.
