Excerpt from Seduction On The Trail by T. Elizabeth Guthrie
He turned in time to see a strange look on her face. “What?”
She blushed even harder. “Nothing.” Trying to change the subject, she asked about the trespasser.
“He’s a strange little man from California who’s been bugging me for some kind of interview.” He had no intention of telling her who or what the man really was.
“Interview for what?” Curiosity overrode her embarrassment.
“I have no idea.” He pulled the new shirt on. “It’s snowing hard out there again. We won’t be able to get into town tomorrow after all.” Why does that make me happy?
“Oh, all right.” She felt lighter inside at the news and had no idea how to interpret it.
“Well, the excitement is over for the night. Would you like to take a bath?”
Her eyebrows shot up at his question, and she couldn’t form a coherent thought to answer him. Her mind kept going to his naked body standing under the spray of the shower, and it turned her on.
Adrian got the first hint of sweet heat, and he liked it. He and his inner kitty silently growled in approval. “I can start the water and help you into the bathroom.”
The sexy growl of his voice sent more intimate pictures through her mind. “Maybe I better do it myself.” Her inner beast howled in regret.
Meet The Author
T. Elizabeth Guthrie is a wife, mom and BamMaw. She’s been writing since she was a child, selling her first story while in high school where she’d write naughty romantic stories for her friends. These days she can be found at home in Florida with her two cats and a dog that snores like a freight train. She loves to write a bit of everything, and you’ll see that reflected in the many anthologies she loves to participate in. However, her love for anything paranormal usually comes to the forefront in almost everything she does. Science Fiction is a close second but even then, she finds a way to make it as strange as possible. You can keep up with her and her works by visiting her website. |
Interview with T. Elizabeth Guthrie
Q: Hi, Elizabeth. Tell us something about yourself that isn’t in your bio.
TEG: Growing up, I wanted to be an archeologist. I used to go with my dad, and we’d walk all over the Appalachian Mountains hunting ginseng and any artifacts we could find.
Q: What drew you to your book’s genre? Why that story?
TEG: I’ve always loved reading paranormal romance, so it was an easy step to take when I started writing it. I love anything with druids and of course, the curvy heroine.
Q: If your book was made into a movie, who would star in it?
TEG: Dougal McIntyre would be played by Manu Bennett. The character was modeled after him in the Chronicles of Shannara and of course his part in Spartacus.
Q: Name a few of your favorite authors or books.
TEG: My favorite authors are Sherrilyn Kenyon and her Dark Hunter books. Along with Lora Leigh and the Breeds series she writes. Then there’s Carol Shaughnessey and the Drakken Brotherhood.
Q: What is your ideal writing space?
TEG: My husband built me a desk when I started writing so of course, it’s my favorite space to work.
Q: What would you consider your greatest achievement since you began your writing journey?
TEG: Being in an anthology with my favorite author, Sherrilyn Kenyon. It was such an honor to have my story chosen to be in her book.
